The Tasting Experience

Guests are welcomed into a cozy wine cellar in the heart of Szentendre, where the wines are crafted on site. The experience begins by sitting together at a table and talking about wine, followed by a guided walk through the nearly 100-meter-long cellar.

During the visit, the winemaker shares stories about each wine, the challenges encountered during production, and explains how aging the same wine in light-, medium-, or strong-toasted barrels can influence aroma, texture, and flavor.

The tasting includes five selected wines, accompanied by a traditional cold platter featuring bread, local sausages, cheeses, and peppers. If guests inform us in advance about special dietary preferences, the offerings can be adapted accordingly.

There is no hostess — visitors meet the winemaker personally, creating an informal and interactive atmosphere where questions are always welcome.

The program lasts approximately 1.5–2 hours. The cellar temperature is between 8–14°C, so guests are advised to bring warm clothing.
