During the assisted tasting, guests are provided with an informational booklet available in both English and Hungarian, offering background on the history, production, and characteristics of each pálinka sample. The selected tasting set is prepared in advance, and guests are guided through each spirit’s story, from the orchard to the glass. Questions are welcomed, and insights into distillation methods and regional differences are shared to deepen appreciation.
Each tasting is accompanied by small food pairings, such as cheeses and cold cuts thoughtfully matched to accentuate the unique profiles of the spirits. - Monday – Thursday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Friday – Saturday: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM (midnight)
- Sunday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Note: On Fridays between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM, the restaurant is only accessible with a ticket for the folklore concert.
Private Transfers to the Cellar and Beyond
To make your visit to the atmospheric cellar as comfortable and seamless as possible, private transfers can be arranged for an additional fee from the hotel where guests are staying to the cellar and back. This service allows guests to relax and fully enjoy the tasting experience without worrying about transportation, parking, or schedules.
A professional driver will meet guests directly at their hotel, provide assistance if needed, and ensure a smooth and punctual transfer to the cellar. After the program, the driver will be waiting to take guests back to their hotel or onward to another destination.
In addition to cellar transfers, transfers to the airport or any other destination—such as city tours, restaurants, event venues, or countryside locations—can be provided with pleasure.
